Post Men's Tennis Volunteers At Serving Up For Sandy Hook

On Sunday, Jan. 27, the Post University men's tennis team volunteered its time at the Middlebury Racquet Club. The event was called Serving Up For Sandy Hook and was a fundraiser to benefit the community of Newtown, Conn. It was hosted by the Connecticut chapter of the United States Tennis Association (USTA). Women's Basketball Participates In Walk In Their Footsteps Event

The Post University women’s basketball team participated in the “Walk In Their Footsteps Race For Awareness” to benefit the St. Vincent DePaul Mission of Waterbury on Sunday. The Eagles raised over $750 for the organization. The event was held at Library Park. Read More

Baseball Participates In Breast Cancer Walk Sunday

The Post University baseball team assisted in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Litchfield walk on Sunday, Oct. 14. The Eagles helped raise over $175,000 for breast cancer research at the event. Over 1,000 people attended the event. Throughout the day student-athletes assisted with parking, traffic control and setup and breakdown. Read More

The Post University baseball team will participate in the “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Litchfield” walk on Sunday, Oct. 14, as a means to raise funds and awareness for the disease. Cross Country Programs Volunteer Time At Seventh Annual Bob Veillette 5K Road Race

The Post University men's and women's cross country programs gathered in downtown Waterbury to volunteer at the seventh annual Bob Veillette 5K Road Race and Walk on Sunday. The race is dedicated to raising funds for Veillette, a former avid runner and well-known Republican-American newspaper employee in Waterbury. He was a journalist, reporter and editor for the city newspaper for more than 40 years, and was also an accomplished jazz pianist. Read More

Weeks before the 2010 Post University women’s tennis team is scheduled to play their first match, student-athletes and head coach Rob Howard spent a day at the Pilot Pen Tennis Tournament in New Haven.
