After a 1-1 weekend at the Merrimack Invitational to open the season, the Post University men's soccer team will host Le Moyne in the squad's home opener on Wednesday afternoon. The opening touch is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
The Eagles enter the tilt with the Dolphins on a 10-game home unbeaten streak, and went 7-0 in home matches during the 2011 campaign. Over the last 10 home contests, Post is 9-0-1. The Eagles have not lost a home match since September 2010.

Behind the first career hat trick by junior forward
Joe Baccielo, the Post men's soccer team picked up its first win of the 2012 season with a 3-0 triumph over AIC. The Eagles and Baccielo opened the scoring in the 28
th minute when he fired a shot from the top of the 18-yard box and found the back of the net for the squad's first goal of the season. At the 30:10 mark,
Terrell Whitting fed Baccielo from across the box, and Baccielo buried a shot into the upper right corner to give Post a 2-0 lead.
Baccielo capped his hat trick in the 57
th minute. After
Kevin Ipina took an initial shot that was saved by AIC goalkeeper, Jason Ryan, Baccielo finished the rebound to give Post the 3-0 margin.
All-Time Series With Le Moyne:
Post and Le Moyne will meet for just the second time in program history. The teams played to a scoreless draw in Syracuse, N.Y., last season.

Preseason Prognostications:
The Post men's soccer team was pegged as the favorite to win the CACC in the preseason poll, which was announced by conference officials on Aug. 22. The defending regular season champions, Post was awarded four first-place votes and 127 points by the league's 12 head coaches.
Reigning Regular Season Champs:
Powered by an 8-2-1 conference record during the 2011 campaign, the Post men's soccer team claimed its first CACC Regular Season Title in program history. The Eagles clinched the title with a 1-0 overtime victory over Holy Family on Oct. 22, after a goal by
Francis Eno (Powder Springs, Ga.) with 12 seconds remaining in the contest. Post was the top seed in the conference tournament, which it lost in the championship match.
Humble Tournament Hosts:
Post University will serve as the host of the 2012 CACC men's and women's soccer championship from Nov. 1-3. The conference tournament semifinals and championship games will be contested at LaMoy Field. Following the quarterfinals at campus sites, the four remaining teams in both the men's and women's bracket will advance to the neutral site in Waterbury.
On The Horizon:
The Eagles will play back-to-back conference road games at Felician on Sept. 12, and at Philadelphia on Sept. 15. Post will return home to LaMoy Field on Saturday, Sept. 22, when they host Wilmington in a CACC match.
