HOW IT HAPPENED
The Eagles and Tigers traded a plethora of shots and fouls back and forth in the first half until Holy Family midfielder Diego Palomera Herrera scored at 19:00, receiving a header from his teammate off his right foot and ricocheting off the crossbar and into Eagles goalkeeper Francisco Pinochet's net. The Eagles remained without a score for the duration of the first half, nothing to show for their efforts.
Newly underway in the second half, the Eagles took six shots and three corner kicks in the span of just seven minutes and eventually, Marcos Rodriguez scored the equalizer, his first goal since August 29 at Adelphi, in the 67th minute, assisted by Francisco Yoma and Tommaso Padroni, each with their first points of the season.
Both Post and Holy Family continued firing shots at each other's nets, both teams finishing with 19 total shots, with Post besting their opponent in total shots on goal, 9-6. In addition to Pinochet, three other Eagles played the full 90 minutes – Pedro Vercosa, Miguel Plaza and the lone goal scorer for Post, Rodriguez.
