Box Score WATERBURY, Conn. – The Eagles faced off against Franklin Pierce University Thursday evening in Garden City, New York after a lightning delay stalled their start. Neither team scored during the match to start the Adelphi Kickoff Tournament, and they will each begin their season 0-0-1, with today marking the first-ever tie between the pair.
In goal for the Eagles, transfer Francisco Pinochet played the full 90 minutes and completed the shutout after a nine-shot attack from the Ravens. Pinochet finished with three saves.
Eagles forward Diego Garcia took two shots throughout the duration of the game, with both coming in the first half and one of them being on target. Garcia's two shot attempts were the lone tries for Post and came just over two minutes apart at the 7:18 and 9:42 marks.
The Eagles will look to notch their first win of the 2026 season Saturday at 6 p.m. in a matchup against tournament host, Adelphi University.
