WATERBURY, Conn. -- A stellar week for Post University Women's Soccer freshman forward Jordyn Calas against D'Youville University was enough to earn the Farmingville, New York native Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Co-Rookie of the Week honors as announced by the CACC league office on Monday afternoon.

Calas helped lead the way for the Eagles, who earned their first win of the season after notching the first two collegiate goals of her career against the Saints on Sunday afternoon. Calas, broke a stretch of nearly 278 scoreless minutes to start the year for the Eagles by netting her first collegiate goal and then tacked on another one in the 42nd minute to give her team a two-goal lead en route to their 3-1 victory. The two-goal game by Calas was the first multi-score game for an Eagle since Hailey McGee scored two goals against Wilmington University on September 24, 2022. Throughout the week, the freshman recorded five shots, three of which made it on net, while scoring twice for a .600 shot on goal percentage.

Women's Soccer hits the pitch for their first conference matchup at home on LaMoy Field this Saturday at 12:00 PM against Wilmington University.
