Aritz Uriate Wins CACC Player of the Week, Hailey McGee Named to Honor Roll

WATERBURY, Conn. -- For the first time this fall, Post University Men's Soccer took home Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Player of the Week as sophomore forward Aritz Uriate was awarded the honor after a four-goal week while senior midfielder Hailey McGee from Post University Women's Soccer was named to the Honor Roll as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

Aritz Uriate - Player of the Week - Men's Soccer
Uriate continued to dazzle for the Eagles this week, leading them to a 2-0-0 week with wins over Dominican (N.Y.) and Chestnut Hill College by scores of 6-0 and 3-1. In both matches, Uriate would register two goals, finishing the week with four total goals and eight points. In total, the forward had four shots on goal, all of which he would score on to help boost him into a tie for second in the conference with 10 goals on the season.

Hailey McGee - Honor Roll - Women's Soccer
McGee finally found the back of the net for the Eagles, scoring three times across the two games Post played this past week. McGee scored twice against Dominican (N.Y.) giving Post University the lead twice before the Lady Chargers would knot it back up both times to force a 2-2 tie in the match. In a 4-1 loss to Chestnut Hill, McGee would tack on one more goal for good measure, her third of the week on five total shots on goal for six total points.
