Waterbury, Conn. – Post University is excited to announce the nomination of Jazmin Andrews as the school's nominee for the 2022 NCAA Woman of the Year Award.

The NCAA Woman of the Year program has honored the academic achievements, academic excellence, community service and leadership of outstanding female college athletes. The Woman of the Year program celebrates the accomplishments through all three NCAA Divisions.

Jazmin Andrews spent four seasons as a member of the Post University softball team, appearing in 56 games, starting 26 with 14 hits and 24 runs scored. Andrews was named to the Central Athletic Collegiate Conference (CACC) All-Academic team three times.

In the classroom, Andrews finished with a 3.97 GPA while majoring in Finance in the Accounting. She was named the Main Campus Valedictorian for 2022. She was also the Business Women's Forum Scholarship Recipient in 2020 and 2022, and received the Malcolm Baldrige School of Business Full Tuition Scholarship for all four years at Post. She was named to the President's List during her entire tenure at Post.

Andrews was also a member of the Post University Accounting Society, the Post University Black Student Union, the Malcolm Baldrige School of Business Student Advisory Board as well as volunteering for the Breast Cancer Walk, National Girls and Women In Sports Day and Habitat for Humanity.

Next, conferences will select their nominees for NCAA Woman of the Year and all conference-round nominees will be announced in August.

The NCAA Woman of the Year Committee will then pick the top ten  nominees from each division then determine the three finalists in each division.

The award ceremony will take place during the NCAA Convention in January.
