Waterbury, CT – Post University women's soccer play
Hailey McGee was named to the 2022 Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) Men's Soccer All-East Region Second Team.
McGee was an offensive standout throughout the year, finishing with a team-high 13 goals, five assists and 31 points during the year. Her goals ranked her tied for second in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC). She also ranked third in points and third in shots with 79.
The All-East Region honor comes on the heels of being named to the All-CACC First Team earlier this month.
McGee had four multi-goal games and six game-winning goals, which also led the CACC and were all during the team's program record seven-game winning streak during the season.
One of her most dramatic goals of the season was a goal with six seconds remaining in a 2-1 win over Bloomfield on September 21. She also had game-winning goals against Queens, Holy Family, Goldey-Beacom, Wilmington and Felician.
McGee's 13 goals were the most since
Renel Dennis scored 17 in the 2014 season.
McGee is the first Eagle to be named to the D2CCA All-East Region team since
Misty Kawai in the 2015 season.
