Women's Ice Hockey Reach Historic Recruiting Landmark

Waterbury, Conn. - The Post University Women's Hockey Team is proud to announce the first six players to ever sign National Letters of Intent in program history. This group of signee's are comprised of 5 forwards and 1 defensemen, with four of the players coming from Ontario, with one from Iowa, and one from Michigan.

Catherine Proulx – Rockland, Ontario
            Catherine currently plays for the Jr. Lady Grads Intermediate AA team out of Gloucester. Since her freshman year, Proulx has amassed 34 goals and 49 assists for 83 career points so far. Catherine is a left-handed forward that is going to provide the team with elite speed.
 
Natalie Sammons – Collingwood, Ontario
            Natalie currently plays for the Barrie Sharks Midget AA team. In her high school career, Sammons has provided her teams with 71 goals and 69 assists for a total of 140 career points. Natalie is a left-handed forward that excels in the face-off circle and a great two-way player.
 
Emily Racco – Minesing, Ontario
            Emily currently plays for the Barrie Sharks Midget AA team. Throughout her career, Racco has accumulated 55 goals and 40 assists for 95 career points. Emily is a left-handed defenseman that moves the puck well and knows how to jump into the offensive play.
 
Madison Turley – Bettendorf, Iowa
            Madison currently attends and plays for Culver Academy in Culver, Indiana. In her time at Culver, Turley has scored 21 goals and 43 assists for a current total of 64 career points. Madison is a right-handed forward that has a relentless motor and is not afraid to go into the 'dirty' areas.
 
Victoria Paton – Toronto, Ontario
            Victoria currently plays for the Brampton Jr. Canadettes in the PWHL. Since her grade 9 years, Paton has scored 54 goals and 63 assists for 117 careers points. Victoria is a right-handed forward that looks to set up her teammates, but is able to go end-to-end if needed.
 
Sadie Storm – New Hudson, Michigan
            Sadie currently plays for the Meijer U19 AAA team out of Michigan. In the last two seasons with Meijer, Storm has scored 14 goals and 20 assists for 34 points. Sadie is a left-handed power forward that is going to add size and toughness to the teams forward lines.


Women's Ice Hockey will return to the ice on and January 5th and 6th when they take in Lindenwood University in Wentzville, MO.
