Two Eagles Named to the NEWHA Weekly Awards

WATERBURY, Conn. -- The Eagles finished the week going 1-1 against Robert Morris University as they earned their first non conference division I victory in school history. Post took home two of the four New England Women's Hockey Alliance weekly awards as Alex Young earned Goalie of the Week and Kingston Golding earned Rookie of the Week. 

Alex Young - NEWHA Goalie of the Week 
Young led the Eagles to their first win of the season and their first non conference division I win in school history as she allowed just one goal while making 48 saves which included six saves in the overtime period. Young also came in relief in their first game against Robert Morris University where she played 30 minutes and allowed two goals while making 15 saves. Young would finish the two game series with 63 saves, three goals allowed, 1.89 goals against average and a .955 save percentage. 

Kingston Golding - NEWHA Rookie of the Week 
Golding recorded her first collegiate points as she notched three assists for the Eagles in the first game of the series against RMU. Golding then recorded her first ever collegiate goal the next day which helped lead the Eagles to their first win of the season by a score of 2-1 over RMU. Golding would finish the two game series with one goal, three assists, and a league leading four total points.
