WATERBURY, Conn. – The Post University women's volleyball team fell to Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) foe Felician in straight sets Wednesday night at the Drubner Center. The set scores were 16-25, 22-25, 18-25. Freshman
Kerrin Kallmann (Lake Grove, N.Y.) led the Eagles with 11 kills, eight digs and a service ace.

Emily Wilman (Perth Amboy, N.J.), who leads the team with 3.21 kills per set, was a last-minute scratch from the lineup due to injury. Junior
Julia Slyaktina (Moscow, Russia) recorded 29 assists, three block assists, two kills and a service ace for Post. Senior
Stephanie Zarakas (Patterson, N.Y.) added two kills and two block assists.
Though the Eagles took the opening point in the first set and then tied it a 2-2, the Golden Falcons led for the remainder of the set. Already up 10-6 in the set, Felician used a 7-2 run to extend the lead to 17-8. Down 24-13, a kill by Kallmann and blocks by Slyaktina and freshman
Nicole Brown (Queens, N.Y.) gave Post a late surge, but it was not enough.
Post made a miraculous comeback in the second set after falling behind by as much as six points. The Eagles took the lead at 9-8 with a Kallmann kill, but the Golden Falcons scored the next six points to gain a five point advantage. Felician notched its largest lead of the set at 20-14 before Post fought back. Post scored six points in a row behind three kills from Kallmann to tie the match at 20 apiece. However, Felician ended the set on a 5-2 run.
The Eagles struggled in the final set and fell behind early 5-1. Post went on a 5-2 run to come within one at 7-6, but that was as close as the team would come for the remainder of the match. Felician kept control of the third set and scored the final three points to complete the sweep.
Post (3-12, 3-4 CACC) committed 23 attack errors and eight service errors, whereas Felician had only 10 attack errors and four service errors. Freshman
Morgan Griffin (Plainfield, Conn.) added eight kills, five digs and three service aces for the Eagles.
Olivia Emerson led the way for the Golden Falcons with 15 kills and two service aces. Felician (3-9, 3-5 CACC) picked up its first win since Sept. 25 and now trails Post by a half game for fourth place in the CACC North standings.
Next up for the Eagles is Dominican on Friday, Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. at the Drubner Center.
