RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Post University volleyball team won its second Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game of the season on Wednesday night with a 3-0 victory over Felician. The final scores were, 25-13, 25-15, 25-23. The Eagles improve to 3-7 overall and 2-0 in conference play.

Emily Wilman (Perth Amboy, N.J.) led all players with a season-high 11 kills. Graduate student

Kelly Hayes (South Orange, N.J.) each added seven kills. Hayes, graduate student
Vanessa Ramos (Milford, Conn.) and senior
Brieonna Skipper (Rahway, N.J.) had three service aces each.
The Eagles never trailed in the first set. A service ace by junior
Monica Aristizabal (Tustin, Calif.) gave Post a 10-3 advantage and Felician would never get closer. Two kills by Hayes helped expand the lead to 19-7.
The second set was much of the same. After falling behind 2-0, Post launched a 12-2 run to force a timeout by Felician. Hayes had two consecutive aces during the stretch. The Golden Eagles pulled within four at 15-11, but a 10-4 run gave the Eagles the set.
Post began the third set with another long run to take a 10-3 lead helped by five consecutive attack errors by Felician. The Golden Eagles responded with a 10-2 run of their own to take a 13-12 advantage. Post fought off a late 5-0 Felician run to take the match.
This marks the first time the Eagles have began CACC play 2-0 since the 2010 season in which Post won its first four conference matches.
Post will be back at home on Saturday, Sept. 22 to take on Holy Family. First serve is scheduled for noon.
