th minute after a ball was played over the defense by junior
Jon Dzurilla (Torrington, Conn.). The Eagles took a 3-0 lead into the intermission.
Dominican cut the lead to 3-1 in the 68
th minute on a tally by Clodalian Lolo; however, the Chargers drew no closer. The Dominican goal broke a stretch of 449:52 of scoreless play at home for the Eagles defense.
In the match, Post was outshot 16-14, and the Chargers held a 7-5 advantage in shots on goal.
The Eagles will wrap up a brief two-game homestand on Saturday, Sept. 22, when they host CACC for Wilmington. The opening draw is scheduled for 2 p.m. It will conclude a CACC soccer doubleheader with the Wildcats as the women take the field at noon.
