The Eagles volleyball team continues their six-match road trip this week with stops at Mercy, UMass-Lowell and Franklin Pierce. On Tuesday night at 7 p.m., they take on Mercy in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. Post heads up to UMass-Lowell on Friday night at 7 p.m. They end the week in Rindge, N.H. against Franklin Pierce on Saturday at 1 p.m.

The Eagles dropped both of their matches on Saturday in Manchester, N.H. They recorded eight team blocks in a sweep at the hands of NYIT in the early match. An 11-5 run midway through the second set against Southern New Hampshire help the Eagles with their only set of the day.
Senior captain
Kelly Hayes (South Orange, N.J.) led Post with 18 kills on the afternoon. Junior
Emily Wilman (Perth Amboy, N.J.) had 16 kills and four service aces. Sophomore
Julia Slyaktina (Moscow, Russia) recorded 54 assists. The Eagles had 10 team blocks over the two matches.

Post was selected to finish fourth in the CACC North Division in the Aug. 24 poll. The Eagles garnered 55 votes. Caldwell was picked first in the North with 95 votes, while Holy Family was chosen first in the South with 94 votes. Each received 11 first-place nods.

Kelly Hayes (South Orange, N.J.) the 2012 team captain. Last season, she ranked second on the team in digs with 256, and was the team leader in digs during the 2010 season with 303.
APPROACHING A MILESTONE:
Hayes comes into the week needing just 19 digs to reach 1,000 for her career. She currently sits in seventh place on the all-time list. Hayes is also only 38 digs behind Courtney McGinnis for sixth on the career list.

The Eagles play two CACC matches next week. Post travels to Felician on Wednesday, Sept. 19 at 7 p.m. and host Holy Family at noon on Saturday, Sept. 22.
