Following its fourth consecutive one-goal defeat to open the 2012 season, the Post University women's soccer team will return to LaMoy Field for a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) matchup against Dominican on Tuesday, Sept. 11, at 4 p.m. The Eagles will round out the week with their first road conference game, as they square off with preseason favorite on Saturday at 1 p.m.
 
Dominican enters the match with an overall record of 0-3 and is 0-2 in conference contests. The Chargers have scored one goal in each of their previous three games this season, led by Olivia Antonopoulos who has two tallies on the year. Most recently, Dominican dropped a 2-1 double overtime decision to Wilmington on Saturday.
 
Philadelphia, the reigning CACC regular season champion and 2012 preseason favorite, begins the week at 2-0 in conference matches and 2-2 overall. The Rams have earned lop-sided wins over Goldey-Beacom (3-0) and Concordia (5-0) to start the conference campaign.

The Post University women's soccer team dropped its fourth straight one-goal decision after a 3-2 loss at Molloy in non-conference action on Sunday afternoon. Post took a 1-0 lead into the intermission after a Sabrina Sinopoli (Watertown, Conn.) goal, but allowed three Lions' goals in the second half at Dean G. Skelos Sports Complex.
 
Nail-Biting Matches:
Despite its 0-4 record to start the campaign, Post has lost each of its matches by just one goal. The difference-making goal in the last two outings has come in the last 10:06 of regulation. The Eagles allowed the game-winning goal against Molloy at the 79:54, while Nyack took the lead with 16 seconds to play in regulation on Sept. 6.
 
Atop The CACC Leaderboard:
Junior Renel Dennis (Queens, N.Y.) is tied for second in the CACC in goals with three and points with six. Through four matches this season, Dennis is Post's leading goal scorer.
 
All-Time Series With Dominican:
Since its full transition to NCAA Division II competition in 2002, Post is 5-4-2 against the Dominican Chargers. The Eagles are 1-0-1 in the last two head-to-head meetings, and in matchups in Waterbury, Post is 3-1-1.

Saturday's matchup at Philadelphia will mark a rematch of the 2011 CACC Quarterfinals, which the Rams won in overtime 1-0. Post has just one all-time win against the Eagles in nine meetings.

Preseason Prognostications:
Post was tabbed 10th in the CACC Preseason Coaches' Poll on Aug. 23. The Eagles garnered 64 points. Philadelphia was selected as the preseason favorite
 
Humble Hosts:
Post University and the men's and women's soccer programs will serve as the host of the 2012 CACC Men's and Women's Soccer Championships. The Waterbury-based school will host the semifinals and championship games on Nov. 1-3 at LaMoy Field.
 
On The Horizon:
The Eagles will open up a three-game homestand on Monday, Sept. 17. Post will host NYIT in a non-conference match with the first touch slated for 4 p.m. at LaMoy Field.
