BLOOMFIELD, N.J. – The Post University volleyball team won its ninth game of the season on Wednesday night 3-0 at Bloomfield. The set scores were 25-22, 25-18, and 25-20. With the victory, the Eagles sit at 9-15 overall and 8-8 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play, one win more than 8-21 overall and 7-12 conference marks from last season.

Kelly Hayes (South Orange, N.J.) recorded her fourth consecutive double-double with 10 kills and 10 assists to go along with four service aces. Junior
Emily Wilman (Perth Amboy, N.J.) scored seven kills and 10 digs. Sophomore
Julia Slyaktina (Moscow, Russia) put up 32 assists and two service aces.
The Eagles fell behind 9-6 early in the first set. Post used an 8-2 run to take a 14-11 advantage. Wilman launched two kills and an ace during the stretch. A kill by graduate student
Kelli Reynolds (Stamford, Conn.) gave the Eagles their largest lead of the stanza at 17-13.

Brieonna Skipper (Rahway, N.J.) aced two straight serves midway through the second set to put Post ahead 11-8. Bloomfield closed the deficit to one at 13-12, but couldn't pull closer. Junior
Stephanie Zarakas (Patterson, N.Y.) scored two kills as part of a 7-2 run that put the set away.
The Deacons (4-16, 3-15 CACC) jumped out to a 13-6 advantage in the final set. Post responded with a 9-2 run to pull the score even at 15-15. Slyaktina and Hayes each recorded two aces during the comeback. An error by Bloomfield gave Post its first lead of the set at 16-15 and the Eagles never trailed again.
Post tied a season high with three solo blocks in the victory. The Eagles .264 hitting percentage was their third best total of the season.
