Fresh off two wins during its last three-game homestand, the Post University women's soccer team will play a pair of Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) matches this week. The Eagles will travel to Bloomfield on Wednesday, Oct. 3, at 3 p.m., and the week will round out at LaMoy Field when they host Goldey-Beacom on Saturday afternoon.

Behind the strength of four first half goals and a hat trick from junior
Renel Dennis (Queens, N.Y.), the Post University women's soccer team captured its first Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) victory of the season with a 6-1 triumph over Concordia at LaMoy Field on Tuesday afternoon.
In addition to Dennis' six-point match, Post got two goals and two assists from senior
Sabrina Sinopoli (Watertown, Conn.), while sophomore
Tessa Dunster (Stamford, Conn.) contributed one goal and one assist. Defensively,
Grace McConnell (Leeds, England) made one save in 54:04 of action to earn the win.
Scoring Surplus:
During its three-game homestand from Sept. 17-25, the Post University women's soccer team outscored the opposition 12-5 in three matches. The 12 goals doubled the Eagles' output from their first six matches combined. To date, Post has tallied 18 goals this season and has received hat tricks from Dunster and Dennis.

On the national scene, Dennis is ranked 13
th in goals per game (1.0), 18

Scouting The Lightning:
Goldey-Beacom will round out its competitions this week when they travel to Waterbury for a CACC contest. The Lightning will take on Lincoln (Pa.) on Wednesday, Oct. 3. Goldey-Beacom begins the week with a record of 2-8 overall and 1-6 in conference tilts, and it has won two of its last three matches. The Lightning offense is led by Danielle Semenza (four goals, one assist) and Tiffany Kelly (three goals, one assist). Defensively, Alyssa Vetrano has logged all 900 minutes in goal and made 52 saves. She has allowed 21 goals in 10 matches.
On The Horizon:
Post begins a four-game road trip as it travels to Caldwell on Oct. 9, at 3 p.m. The Eagles will also visit Chestnut Hill (Oct. 13), Bridgeport (Oct. 17) and Holy Family (Oct. 20) during the stretch.
