ALBANY, NY (September 13, 2011) The Post University volleyball team won its first set of the season Tuesday night, but eventually lost the match at Saint Rose, 3-1.

The Eagles were led by Belinda Snider and Kelli Reynolds, who had 10 and 7 kills respectively. Most of the points were set up by Taylor Doyle who had an impressive 30 assists. Emily Wilman added four service aces and nine digs.

Post came out to an early 2-1 lead in the first set, before falling behind for good as Saint Rose won 25-14. The second set was a back and forth battle and was tied at 21-21, but Saint Rose eventually won 25-22.

The Eagles struggled at the beginning of the third set and were down 6-2. They climbed back to square it at 9-9 and never looked back, taking the set 25-16. Post fell in a close fourth set 25-19.

Concordia (NY) will be coming to Drubner Center Thursday night for the Eagles next contest.
