Volleyball Takes on Holy Family in CACC Opening Round

WATERBURY, Conn (November 7, 2011) Post University's volleyball team will take on the Holy Family Tigers in the opening round of the CACC tournament Tuesday night. Holy Family was the second seed overall this season. Game time is set for 6pm in Philadelphia.

The Eagles missed the tournament last season for the first time in the last ten seasons. During that time Post went to the championship twice.

Newcomer Belinda Snider leads the Eagles with 2.85 kills per game and is among the conference top five in hitting percentage. Emily Wilman, who is also in her first year as an Eagle, has 2.20 kills per game while setter Taylor Doyle has 7.48 sets per contest.

The Tigers have had on the best seasons in program history as with the win over Chestnut Hill last time out, Holy Family has tied the school record for most wins in a season.

Jillian Keeve is the go to player on the front line for the Tigers with 2.89 kills per game. Setter Chelsea Keegan tossed up 9.86 assists per game adding 2.38 digs. Keegan was last week's CACC Player of the Week. Jordan Beland brings up 4.02 digs per contest.

The two teams met earlier this season on September 17 with the Tigers taking a 3-0 victory.
