WATERBURY, Conn (October 27, 2011) The Post University volleyball team was defeated at home Thursday night by Dominican, 3-0. With the loss, the Eagles are 7-20 (6-12) on the season with one game remaining.

The Eagles first game was back and forth throughout, but Dominican prevailed, 25-20. In the second, they fell 25-17. The third game was close with the Eagles holding a 21-18 lead before the Chargers stormed back to take it 25-22.

Kelli Reynolds was a bright spot on offense with 12 kills; and Emily Wilman and Belinda Snider each added seven. Taylor Doyle came back strong from a game off due to injury with 25 assists.

The defense was led by Kelly Hayes with 11 digs and Wilman with 10. Belinda Snider added two solo blocks in the defeat.

The Eagles will honor the seniors on Saturday afternoon in their final home game of the season as they take on University of the Sciences.
