BRONXVILLE, NY (October 20, 2011) The Post University Eagles, led by Emily Wilman with 15 kills and Taylor Doyle with 47 assists, fell just short of defeating Concordia 3-2 Thursday night. Post is now 7-18 (6-10, CACC) this season.

Concordia won the opening set 25-23, but Post rallied back in the second and third set with 25-18 and 25-20 point wins respectively. The fourth set went to the Clippers 25-16. In the fifth it was Concordia once again winning 16-14.

Although the Clippers committed 8 more attack errors than the Eagles, the standout statistic was services aces as Concordia registered sixteen on the night. The Clippers also won the battle at the net with four more team blocks than the Eagles.

Post will return to competition on Friday at Chestnut Hill.
