Post Univerity Volleyball Defeats Nyack 3-1

NYACK, NY (September 8, 2010) Post University's volleyball team defeated Nyack College 3-1 in their conference opening match Wednesday. The Eagles are now 1-1 this season.

Kelli Reynolds and Liz Knight teamed up for nine kills each to lead the Eagles. Nyack was led by Tawnie Savage with 11 kills.

The match was closely contested with the Eagles taking the first two sets 25-23 and 26-24. Nyack won the second set 25-23.In the third set Post University took a 25-22 victory to secure a 3-1 win, their first of the season.

The Eagles will be back in action again Friday night against Kutztown at the West Chester Tournament.
