Bloomfield Defeats Eagle Volleyball 3-1

BLOOMFIELD, NJ (September 30, 2010) Post University's volleyball team lost to Bloomfield College 3-1 Thursday night on the road. The loss drops the Eagles to 6-10 (4-3 CACC), while the Deacons improve to 4-5 (4-3 CACC).

Post University's Teresa Hodges had 10 kills, Kelli Reynolds had 8. Kelly Hayes tallied 22 digs with Monica Aristizabal having 16 digs. Bloomfield was led by Suzy Zanette with 20 kills, while Uerequenia Pereira had 14 kills and 18 digs.

Post University won the first set in dominating fashion 25-16, but dropped the next three (25-19, 25-17, 25-21).

The Eagles will be back in action again Saturday afternoon against Holy Family at home. Game time is set for 1pm in the Drubner Center.
