Eagles earn scoreless draw with 10th-ranked Dowling

Post University and tenth-ranked Dowling played to a scoreless tie Wednesday night in Brookhaven, N.Y. Errol Reid had 6 saves for Post University. Chris Kucera stopped 4 shots for Dowling. 

It was the first draw of the season for Dowling, which now stands at 4-0-1. Post University moved to 2-3-1 with the tie. Dowling outshot Post University 18-11, but the Eagles were able to keep the Golden Lions off the scoreboard, thanks to brilliant goalkeeping from Reid. 

The Eagles backstop made 12 saves in the second half and overtime. Midfielder Jean Louis Cadet led the Eagles attack with 4 shots, while midfielder Sean Dougherty had 4 shots for Dowling. Post University will face Chestnut Hill College on Saturday in Philadelphia.
