Men's Soccer Survives Overtime Duel with Wilmington; Advances to Semi-Final

NEW CASTLE, DE (November 2, 2010) Eight minutes and twenty-five seconds into the first overtime period, Eagle
Francis Eno scored the game winning goal in the first round of the CACC men's soccer tournament. It was the 8th overtime game this season, and Eno's sixth goal en route to Post University's 2-1 victory over Wilmington.
Leslie Ayafor was credited with the assist on the game winner when he sent a cross into the box finding Eno.
Wilmington led most of the game with a goal at the 48:16 mark by Socrates Joachim beating Eagle keeper Errol Reid low and to his right.
It wasn't until 78:27 before Mark Risbridger pocketed his second of the season off a Hylton Davis throw in.
With the 2-1 win, the Eagles advance to the semi-final round of the CACC tournament and will play top ranked Bloomfield at 11am on Thursday. The two teams last met on October 28 with Bloomfield picking up a 3-2 overtime victory.
