Volleyball falls short at Philadelphia, 3-1

The Post University volleyball team dropped its match Saturday, 3-1, at Philadelphia University.

The Eagles (9-19, 7-11 CACC) have lost three straight and have fallen into fourth place in the CACC North, but still lead Nyack by one game with two left to play in the race for the final spot in the CACC tournament.

Philadelphia (16-6, 14-2 CACC) was led by Leanna Lillige, who had 13 kills. Jordan Milligan added 12 kills for the Rams, and Lauren Hoover racked up 24 assists.

Elizabeth Knight led the Eagles with 14 kills, and Teresa Hodges had 30 assists in place of the injured Taylor Doyle.

Post University faces UMass-Lowell in Waterbury on Monday.
