The Post University women's volleyball team wasted no time in dispatching Chestnut Hill College on Saturday, sweeping its match 3-0, and bolstering its chances for a CACC tournament bid.

The Eagles (9-16, 7-7 CACC) dominated Chestnut Hill, winning the first two sets by a 25-11 margain, and then closing out the Griffins with a 25-20 win in set three. 

Four players recorded at least 8 kills for the Eagles.

Kelly Hayes led the team with 10 kills, while Courtney Braun, Elizabeth Knight, and Kelli Reynolds each racked up 7 kills for Post University. 

Setter Taylor Doyle finished with 20 assists for the Eagles.

The Griffins (4-20, 1-12 CACC) were led by Madelynn Ries, who recorded 5 kills. Elisabeth DiGregorio performed well defensively, picking up 14 digs.

The Eagles will travel to Caldwell College on Tuesday before returning home to face Bloomfield on Friday.
