Eagles Fight to a Scoreless Draw with Dominican

Post University was the host of a battle on Thursday with neither them nor the visiting Chargers of Dominican College wanting to give an inch.  The result was a scoreless draw after nearly 110 minutes of soccer.

This was the second draw of the season for both of these teams making the race for playoff positioning that much tighter.  Post University, whose CACC record now stands at 4-3-1, has inched itself one step closer to the heels of Dominican College, whose record sits at 5-2-2.

Each of the two teams was led by their defenses in different ways.  Post University did not allow Dominican a sniff at the goal, allowing seven shots total with none of them being on goal.  Dominican on the other hand let up six shots on goal, but luckily was redeemed by Junior Goalie Brandon Heembrock on all of the attempts.
