Post University Men's Soccer Defeats Philly U 2-0

Waterbury, Conn (September 26, 2009) The Post University Men's Soccer team defeated Philadelphia University 2-0, for their first win of the 2009 season. 

Maurice Johnson scored his first goal since returning to the Eagles club. The goal came when he shot the ball past goalkeeper Charles Custer at the 12:44 mark of the first half. The Eagles went into halftime with a 1-0 advantage.

The second half went scoreless most of the way until Mike Semedo scored from Matt Luis for his 4th goal this season. The goal would vault Post University to its first win this season.
Goalkeeper Nicholas Gutbrod made 5 saves, earning his first collegiate shutout.
