Eagles Men's Soccer Downed by Dowling 5-1

Brookhaven, New York (September 23, 2009) – Dowling scored four goals in the first half to defeat Post University in Men's Soccer Wednesday night. The loss drops the Eagles to (0-4-2) on the season.

Errol Reid played in goal for the first half making 3 saves, but allowing the first four goals. Nicolas Gutbrod came in for the second half coming up with 3 saves and one allowed goal in his second collegiate appearance. 

The Eagles were able to score just inside the 10 minute mark of the second half, but it will go down into the record books as an own goal on Dowling. 

The Eagles will host Philly U this Saturday afternoon at Lamoy Field.
