Men's Soccer Ties Nyack 1-1

Nyack, New York (September 17, 2009) – Post University's Men's Soccer team played to a tie Thursday afternoon at Nyack College in a CACC matchup. Mike Semedo scored the only goal for the Eagles in the 1-1 game.

Nyack's Daniel Ocampo scored the first goal midway thru the first half by heading a corner kick into the net past freshman Errol Reid. Reid would come up with 5 saves on the day for the Eagles.

Semedo scored after Talyor Withrow crossed the ball for the Post University goal just 1:03 into the second half. It would be the final goal of the game, even after a 10 minute overtime period. 

The game saw many penalties which totaled 6 yellow cards and 4 red cards between the two teams.

The draw moves the Eagles record to (0-3-1) this season and (0-0-1) in conference play.
