Waterbury, Conn (September 15, 2009) – In an intense match at the Drubner Center, the Post University Volleyball team defeated Felician College for its second straight victory in CACC competition. The Eagles are now 2-0 in conference play.

"Whenever we earn a confernce win it is a confidence boost for this team," said Head Coach Mike Brienza. "Have Liz Knight back in the game for us was critical, although she will not show up making a large contribution in teh box score."

Post was able to win all three sets, including a come from behind win in the third set. Post trailed 9-2 early on and rallied with help from a loud crowd on their home court. It was a tightly contested match with scores relatively close throughout (25-17, 26-24, 25-23).

As has been the case all season, Post University was led offensively by Teresa Hodges and Aubrey Latham with 8 kills each. Kelly Hayes led the defensive effort with 15 digs.
The Eagles will be in action again Sept. 17 at Southern Connecticut State.
