Post University Volleyball Defeats Nyack 3-1

Waterbury, Conn. (September 10, 2009) – Freshman Aubrey Latham led the Eagles Volleyball team with 15 Kills en route to the teams first victory of the season. Post University now sits 1-4 in overall and 1-0 in the CACC.

The Eagles won the first two sets to take a 2-0 lead, when Nyack rallied to win the third. The Eagles looked to be back on their heels heading into the fourth set, but won final set 25-18 to secure the win. 

Teresa Hodges and Nicole Gizzi* had 8 kills each. Hodges also connected on 29 digs throughout the night. Taylor Doyle had another consistent night with 21 set assists.

The Eagles now head up to Syracuse, NY for the Lemoyne Volleyball Tournament over the weekend.
