WATERBURY, Conn (October 31, 2009) The Post University Volleyball team fell in two games, the first to Philadelphia University and the second to Molloy College.

The Eagles played tough in the first two sets.  In the third set, the Eagles pulled the score closer but were unable to catch up, (26-24, 26-24, 25-20) losing 3-0.

Taylor Doyle had 24 assists for the first game.  Teresea Hodges led the team on defense with 18 digs, followed by Doyle with 14 digs.

In the third game of the “Dig Pink” tri-match, Molloy College defeated the Eagles 3-1.  The Eagles started off strong by winning the first set 25-23.  The Eagles were unable to hold on however and lost the last three sets. (25-14, 25-20, 25-28)

Bri-Anna Watson had 22 assists in the game while also leading the team on defense with 9 digs.  Brieonna Skipper and Courtney Braun followed behind on defense with 8 digs each.

The Post University Volleyball team will be back in action Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at Franklin Pierce.
