Eagles Volleyball Defeats Bloomfield in 5

BLOOMFIELD, NJ (October 29, 2009) The Post University Eagle Volleyball team swept Bloomfield college this season winning both matches, 3-2. Thursday night's game was no different with the Eagles improving their record to 9-8 in the conference. 

In the five set match, the two teams alternated wins with Bloomfield winning the first and third set, and the Eagles winning the second and fourth. The fifth set was settled with a 16-14 score.

Teresea Hodges had a huge night for the Eagles with 17 kills and 16 digs. Aubrey Latham had 14 kills with 16 digs. Taylor Doyle assisted 32 kills and had 21 digs.

Bloomfield was led by Ursula Pereira with 15 kills and 16 digs. 

The Eagles host a tri-match on Saturday against Philadelphia and Molloy. The day is also dubbed “Dig Pink,” raising awareness and funds for breast cancer. The first game begins at 1pm at the Drubner Center.
