Holy Family Edges Eagles Volleyball 3-2

PHILADELPHIA, PA (October 24, 2009) Despite 17 kills from Aubrey Latham, the Post University Volleyball team fell on Saturday to Holy Family 3-2. The Eagles now fall to 8-7 in the CACC.

Holy Family (25-23, 25-22) won the first two sets, but the Eagles (25-19, 25-14) rallied back to win two straight making it 2-2.

In the third and final set Holy Family won 15-7 to earn the win.

The Eagles put up a strong defensive effort with 3 players having more than 20 digs. Teresa Hodges had 22, Kelly Hayes with 21, and Latham had 20.

Taylor Doyle had 42 assists on the night.

The Eagles play again at home Tuesday night against Caldwell beginning at 7pm.
