WATERBURY, Conn. -- Senior attacker
Robbie McGrayne landed on the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference's Weekly Awards again for Post University Men's Lacrosse, this time on the Honor Roll, after his record-breaking week for the Eagles as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
McGrayne went off for five goals and one assist, totaling six points for the Eagles in their lone game of the week against AIC, which was a 12-11 win. Four of the five goals for McGrayne came in a five-goal fourth quarter for Post, which saw him score the go-ahead goal ahead of graduate attacker
Hunter McCarty's insurance goal to help the Eagles close out the victory. The five-goal performance made McGrayne the program's top goal scorer for a career with 137 goals, surpassing
Dylan Heald (2021-24).
Post University faces off on Wednesday against St. Thomas Aquinas College in its first road game of the season at 2:00 PM in Sparkill, New York. The Eagles have won three straight games against the Spartans in the all-time series and in last year's game they recorded the first shutout in program history with a 21-0 win.
