WATERBURY, Conn. -- For the sixth straight year, Post University Men's Lacrosse, earned at least one NEILA All-Academic Team recipient, this year netting two as part of the release yesterday. Coming into the season, only 14 players had been named to the All-Academic Team.
In all, 298 student-athletes made the list, ranging from the Division I to Division III levels, after they were nominated by head coaches in Divisions I, II, and III, and are student-athletes who have excelled both in the classroom and on the field over the course of their men's lacrosse career. Overall, 59 different colleges and universities were represented across all three divisions.
Nominees must have a senior or graduate student standing with no eligibility remaining or plans to use their eligibility in New England, a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale, and be an impact player for their team.
For Post, senior attackers
