WATERBURY, Conn. -- For the second time this season, junior goalie Hannah Saunders has been named to the New England Women's Hockey Alliance Honor Roll for Post University Women's Ice Hockey in the Goalie of the Week category as announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon.

Saunders notched her second shutout of the season and the sixth of her career for the Eagles to help the Post go 1-1-0 in their home-and-home series against Stonehill College this weekend. Making the start on Friday afternoon at home, Saunders stopped all 34 shots she faced to lead Post to a 1-0 shutout win which snapped a four-game losing streak for the Eagles and marked the first time in program history that they have beaten the Skyhawks at home. 

Post University starts a home-and-home with LIU this weekend with the Friday edition between the two taking place in East Meadow, New York at 3:00 PM. The Eagles are 0-16-0 all-time against the Sharks and have been shut out in four of their last five matchups in the last two seasons.
