Box Score Albany, N.Y. - The Post University women's lacrosse team lost a 16-4 non-conference gme to The College of Saint Rose on Friday evening.
Post is now 0-3 on the season, while Saint Rose is 4-1.
The Golden Knights jumped out to a 10-0 lead after the first quarter, after six ifferent goal scorers scored for them, including three from Deanna Cilliento and two from Daria Bock and Claudia Agostino. Agostino's second goal came with ten secons left in the period.
Saint Rose scored the first two of the second period before the Eagles got on the board on a goal from
Hailey McHenry to make it a 12-1 game. The Golden Knights led 13-1 heading into the hald.
The Eagles went scoreless in the third before
Cara DiStefano scored two straight goals less than two minutes apart., making it a 15-3 game. The Eagles wouldn't get any closer the rest of the way.
Lotanna Nwadadu scored her firt of the season.
In net for the Eagles, Christina Badarraco stopped seven shots on the day, including the 500th shot of her career.
Bock finished with four goals to lead Saint Rose.
Up next, the Eagles get a little break and host Holy Family for its Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) opener at 1 p.m. on March 18.
