WATERBURY, Conn. –  Senior attacker Maddy Noonan and senior midfielder Anna D'Angelo ended their careers with Post University Women's Lacrosse by scoring a goal each as the Eagles closed the 2026 campaign at LaMoy Field on Saturday afternoon against Jefferson University with a 22-2 loss, finishing the season 2-8 overall and 1-8 in conference play, giving them a ninth-place finish in the standings.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Senior midfielder Iris Gluck led the Jefferson offense with five goals and an assist for six points, while a five-point game from junior attacker Reagan Rogers came courtesy of her two goals and three assists. The Rams finished with nine different players recording at least one goal, as well as one point in the 20-goal victory. Junior goalie Kalyn Ammerlaan and sophomore goalie Victoria Rossi split time in the net as Ammerlaan picked up the win, allowing one goal and making four saves, while Rossi stopped two shots and allowed a goal in the second half.

Defensively, sophomore defender Caryss Kehl turned in another big performance for the Eagles as she had five caused turnovers and four ground balls to lead the team. The five caused turnovers marked the fourth time this season in which Kehl has had at least four caused turnovers, as she accounted for nearly half of the 11 total caused turnovers that Post had. Senior defender Audrey Cashin was one of nine Rams to finish with a caused turnover as she had four to go along with her team-leading five ground balls, while Jefferson as a team forced 17 caused turnovers in a game where the Eagles had 22 total as a team.

Only 11 times throughout the game would the Eagles have the chance to clear the ball, going 8-for-11, while the Rams were 23-for-31 overall and outshot Post by a 43-13 margin, including 30-8 in shots on goal. Senior goalie Niky Johnson tied her career high in saves for the Eagles, making 11 saves in the loss.
