Men's Lacrosse Picked Fifth In CACC Preseason Coaches' Poll

Waterbury, CT - The Post University men's lacrosse team was picked to finish in fifth place as the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Preseason Coaches' Poll was released.

The Eagles received 31 points, two points ahead of sixth place Felician.

Wilmington, who won the regular season championship in 2022, was picked to repeat with 54 voting points and five first-place votes. Two-time defending champion, Chestnut Hill was picked to finish second with 51 points and two first-place points. Georgian Court rounded out the top three with 44 voting points and one first-place vote.

Last season, the Eagles finished 4-8 overall and 2-4 in the CACC, finishing sixth. The Eagles open up their regular season on February 17 at home against Saint Michael's at noon. They open up CACC play against the University of Bridgeport on March 26 at 11 a.m.

The CACC Tournament will be held May 1, 5 & 7. The top-five teams in the standings following the regular season will advance to the postseason. Post University will be hosting the semifinals on May 5 and the championship on May 7.
