Waterbury, CT - Post University baseball player Danny Gill was named Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Player of the Week after his performance during the Eagles 3-1 week in Myrtle Beach. Brennan Hollligan was named to the CACC Weekly Honor Roll.

During the week, Gill went 5-for-12 with three doubles a triple, three runs and four RBI. In a 6-5 win over Adelphi on Feb. 24, Gill went 2-for-4 with a run and two RBI, including an RBI double that tied the game in the bottom of the eighth.

In a 9-7 win over SCSU on Feb. 26, Gill was 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI and a triple which drove in a run to give Post an 8-7 lead in the top of the eighth.



For Holligan, he earned his first save in a 3-2 win over Queens, pitching 1.1 innings, allowing just one hit. He was credited with his first win of the season in the win over SCSU, pitching 2.1 innings, striking out three and giving up one hit. He struck out the side in the bottom of the eighth.
