Men's lacrosse player Nick Meier and women's lacrosse player Cara DiStefano were both named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Weekly Honor Roll for games played from April 26th to May 2nd.
In two games this week, Meier scored six goals and had two assists in games against Dominican and Chestnut Hill.
During an 18-13 loss to Dominican on April 27th, Meier scored four goals and had two assists. He added two more goals in a 19-8 loss to Chestnut Hill on May 1. It is the second time this season Meier was named to the Weekly Honor Roll.
DiStefano scored two goals and had seven draw controls in a 20-6 loss to Jefferson on May 1. This is the second time this season that DiStefano was named to the Weekly Honor Roll.
Both the men's and women's lacrosse teams will be playing in the upcoming CACC Tournament. The sixth-seeded men's lacrosse team will go on the road to Georgian Court to play the third-seeded Lions on May 4th at 3:30 p.m.
The women's team – seeded fourth – will host fifth-seeded Caldwell at noon at LaMoy Field on, Wednesday, May 5th.
