SPARKILL, N.Y. - The Eagles got on the board first in today's matchup against Saint Thomas Aquinas College when Dom Albanese connected on a goal with an assist from Mark Colella.
Justin Nogueira and Albanese each connected on one more goal in the first half. Albanese's second goal of the half came with just 11 seconds remaining in the second quarter.
At the end two quarters, the score was 5-3 in favor of STAC. One of the lowest scoring halves the Eagles have played this season.
STAC scored two third quarter goals to extend their lead to 7-3.
Post answered back with the first goal of the fourth quarter when Dom Albanese completed his hat trick to make the score 7-4 with 7:32 remaining in the game.
However, STAC closed out the game with two goals towards the end of the fourth quarter and would go on to win 9-4
Manny D'Alessio made eleven saves in 60 minutes of play.
Next Up - Men's Lacrosse will return home on April 10th to take on Dominican College after a two week lay-off. This will be the Eagles first CACC contest of the season.
