Cassiliano and Schwack Combine For Five Goals In Loss To SCSU

Waterbury, Conn. - The Eagles hosted in-state opponent Southern Connecticut State University in their second of four consecutive home games at LaMoy Field. 

The Owls jumped out to a commanding nine goal lead in the first ten minutes of play. 

Savannah Schwack netted the first Post goal of the game at the 19:25 mark of the first half. For Schwack, it was her 15th goal of the 2019 season. 

Morgan Cassiliano tacked on two more first half goals to bring the halftime score to 15-3 in favor of Southern Connecticut. 

Schwack and Cassiliano each scored one more goal in the second half. 

For Cassiliano, she now has a team leading goal total of 18 this season. 

The Eagles will open up their CACC schedule next Tuesday against Dominican College (at LaMoy Field) at 3:00 p.m.
