Box Score SHELTON, Conn. - The Eagles took to the ice for their final home game of the season and honored two important seniors in the program:
#14 Alana Lopez: Alana Lopez is from Wolcott, Connecticut. Having transferred to Post as a sophomore, Alana was excited to be able to play her collegiate hockey close to home. She has been playing hockey for 16 years and is finishing her degree in Psychology. Alana scored her first NCAA goal in Post's 4th ever game, back in November of 2016.
#21 Sierra Alarid - Sierra Alarid is from Cheyenne, Wyoming. She transferred to Post as a sophomore and made an immediate impact, scoring in her first game as an Eagle. She has been playing hockey for 17 years and is finishing her degree in Biology. Sierra is currently the 2nd all-time leading scoring in Post Women's Hockey history.
As for the game, the Eagles battled hard but came up short against Saint Michael's College, 5-0. Post ripped off a season-high 56 shots in the game but were unable to find the back of the net.
Jenna Baumgartner stopped 56 shots in net.
Next Up - The Eagles will finish up their season next weekend at Franklin Pierce with two games - Friday (2/15) at 2:00 p.m. and Saturday (2/16) at 12:00 p.m.
