Eagles Drop Close Battle With First-Place Georgian Court, 13-10

Polaski Scores Six In Defeat, 40 For Season

WATERBURY, Conn. – The Post University women's lacrosse team fell at home on Wednesday afternoon to Georgian Court, 13-10. Sophomore Miranda Polaski (Agawam, Mass.) led all players with six goals on the day.
 
Polaski now has 40 goals on the season which is the second-most in a single season in school history. The record is held by Stephanie Marran who scored 58 in 2011. Junior Meghan Diggett (East Islip, N.Y.) found the back of the net three times and also picked up three ground balls and had one draw control.
 
Freshman Jordyn Woltmann (Lake Grove, N.Y.) added a goal of her own to go along with two ground balls and one draw control. Sophomore Eryka Baez (Clifton, N.J.) recorded 11 saves in her second start in goal this season.
 
The Eagles will play their final game of the season on Saturday, April 20 at home against Wilmington. Opening draw is scheduled for 1 p.m.
