WATERBURY, Conn. - The Post University women's lacrosse team will close the home portion of its 2012 season on Sunday afternoon, when the Eagles host first-place Holy Family in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) battle at LaMoy Field. The opening draw is slated for 1 p.m.
The contest will mark Senior Day for three student-athletes who will play in their final home game.
Michelle Chadwick,
Mallorie Michalak and
Iliana Recarey will be honored in a pregame ceremony.
The Tigers come to Waterbury on a seven-game winning streak, and bring reigning CACC Rookie of the Week, Brianna Lancetta, to the contest. Last week, Lancetta tallied seven goals in a pair of wins at Georgian Court and Philadelphia.

Mallorie Michalak leads the CACC in ground balls and caused turnovers this season. She has totaled 46 ground balls (3.67/game) and 27 caused turnovers (2.08/game). Michalak is ranked ninth nationally in caused turnovers and 10
th in ground balls.

Post will conclude the 2012 campaign on Wednesday, April 25, when it travels to Dominican. Opening draw of the CACC contest is set for 4 p.m. in Orangeburg, N.Y.
