Women’s Lacrosse Blanked At Georgian Court, 19-0

Post Will Play Final Home Game Of Season On Sunday Against Holy Family

LAKEWOOD, N.J. – The Post University women's lacrosse team was shutout at Georgian Court in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) contest on Thursday afternoon. The final score was 19-0. The Eagles were outshot 27-3 in the contest.
 
Georgian Court's (9-6, 8-3 CACC) Stephanie Gallo scored the first three goals of the game, with the third coming at the 25:20 mark of the opening stanza. Gallo found the back of the net four times in the game. Corinne Coyle led the Lions with five goals.
 
Graduate student Mallorie Michalak (Meriden, Conn.) and freshmen Alanna Bauche (Calgary, Alberta) and Eryka Baez (Clifton, N.J.) had one shot apiece for Post (1-12, 0-10 CACC). Michalak had two ground balls and two caused turnovers.
 
Post will host its final game of the 2012 campaign on Sunday, April 22. The Eagles will welcome Holy Family to LaMoy Field for a 1 p.m. opening draw. The contest will mark the final home match for three student-athletes: Michelle Chadwick (Miami, Fla.), Michalak and Iliana Recarey (Bronx, N.Y.).
